You can enjoy this gut-loving spiced “salad topper” on just about anything!
Packed with fibre rich seeds and nutrient dense nuts, this recipe is a simple way to add a little crunch, flavour and wholesome goodness to salads, smoothie bowls, scrambled eggs or any dish you wish. Plus, it’s ideal as a healthy snack you can nibble on whenever, wherever…the possibilities are endless!
With a touch of the Golden Gut blend of turmeric, spices and diatomaceous earth, your gut will feel the love every time you tuck into this tasty topper!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup of brown linseeds
- 1/4 cup of golden linseeds
- 1/4 cup of pepitas
- 1/4 of almonds, roughly chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons of dried coconut, shredded
- 1 tablespoon of Golden Gut blend
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon of Celtic sea salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- Mix the seeds and nuts well, then coat them evenly with oil and Golden Gut blend.
- Spread the mix onto a lined baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden. Make sure to shake the tray occasionally so the mix is evenly toasted.
- Let cool on a wire rack, store in a container and sprinkle over salads, meals or nibble on as a healthy snack
