Where’s your attention at? The holiday season is behind us and 2023 is unfolding before us. Now is a good time to set our attention to achieving some doable health goals. In our experience, attention makes the intention happen.

Having a focus for a month is a great way to get some goals under your belt. The success of achieving is the best motivation to set more goals. February is the ideal month to focus our attention as it’s upon us and it’s short!

At Supercharged Food we always like to share our nutrition and health goals. We hope to provide some inspiration to set your own health focal points.

The best way to set a goal, we believe, is from inspiration (rather than desperation, envy or other negative intents).

What’s inspiring you right now? What would you like your body to feel like, look like, be like? Go forth from this well of self-love and creativity. (Avoid the comparisons to others who present as ‘more than’ to you. Be the best that you can be, it’s more than enough).

What you ingest and imbibe will go a long way to giving you what you want.

Here’s some broad actions that are good foundational ideas for you to make your own.

Feb Fasting.

February has become a focal point for many to take up intermittent fasting. Again, the short 4-weeks of the month gives you a sharper end horizon.

Do a fast technique that suits you and your lifestyle.

As dedicated, year-long fasters, we like to mix up our fasting approaches. It keeps it fun and interesting. And you can test what works best for you. There’s any number to try.   • Time-restricted eating. Involves fasting every day for 12 hours or longer and eating in the remaining hours
  • The 5:2 diet. Fast 2 days a week, not on consecutive days though
  • Eat Stop Eat involves a 24-hour fast once or twice per week
  • Alternate-day fasting…as the name suggests.

Seasonal Eating

Try, as best you can, to only consume fruits and vegetables in season. This may not be practical every day of the year but for February it’s doable.

An Alcoholiday

Take a break from alcohol for February. 4 short weeks. We can do it!

Get inspired by how clear and fresh you’ll feel in the mornings. Think of the money savings too!
